當你聽到或是網路上看到R.I.P這三個字的縮寫，可能有一些朋友就會想到Rest In Peace這三個英文字吧?!中文的意思就是願死者安息；然而歌手韋禮安最近出了一張英文專輯I’M MORE SOBER WHEN I’M DRUNK (當我喝醉時我卻更清醒)，這張專輯內的其中一首英文歌就是用了R.I.P這三個英文字，不過歌詞內寫著卻是對於舊愛的難捨與懷念，同時還有對於舊愛的怨懟。

拿鐵自己在聽這一首英文歌【R.I.P】時，感覺就是滿韋禮安風格的，雖然整首歌的歌詞應該偏向於一首悲傷的情歌，但是整首歌的曲調算是相當的抒情與輕快，與歌詞內那一種男主角走不太出來情傷的那一種悲傷氣氛，有一種大相逕庭的感覺，但是拿鐵可以藉由整首歌的部分歌詞當中想像出歌詞中一個倔強的男人面對情傷表面像是不在乎，但是內心其實是非常在乎這一段過往的感情，甚至是難以走出的。

總結來說韋禮安的【R.I.P】是一首悲傷的英文情歌，歌詞內寫著對於往日戀情的難捨難分，情深到難以走出，冀望有一天能走出對於舊愛的情傷
